Friends of Family Dentist Susan Wang, DDS, MS Completes Board Certification
La Habra, Calif. – December 10, 2009 – Susan Wang, DDS, MS, a pediatric dentist practicing at
Friends of Family Health Center, recently completed her board certification examinations and
is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
“We are extremely pleased that Dr. Wang has added this prestigious designation,” said
David Lee, Executive Director for Friends of Family. “Parents can feel even better
about quality and safety when bringing their children to our practice, as she has met the highest
standards in her field.”
Dr. Wang’s pediatric dentistry practice is part of The Friends of Family Health
Center, a north Orange County non-profit medical community clinic for children and adults in
La Habra, Calif. Dental services are for children only. The clinic is open six days a week to
provide dental services for children. Most insurance is accepted, and no patient is turned away based on the parent’s ability to pay for services.
The mission of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry is to verify that a pediatric
dentist has successfully completed both an advanced educational program accredited by the
American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation and a voluntary examination
process. These programs are designed to validate the knowledge, application and performance
necessary to deliver proficient care in pediatric dentistry. The American Board of Pediatric
Dentistry is the only certifying Board recognized by the American Dental Association for the
specialty of pediatric dentistry.
